COMMUNITY HIRE: GAZEBO (3x3m)

Only people residing in the Strath Taieri and close surrounding catchments (Hyde, Macraes, Clarks Junction, Lee Steam etc) can hire this gazebo. 

This is a high-quality 3m x 3m community gazebo suitable for a range of events and emergency response needs.

The gazebo includes three full walls for additional weather protection and privacy.

It is ideal for:

• Community events
• Market stalls 
• Fundraising activities 
• Sports days
• Family functions
• Emergency shelter use
   

The gazebo is designed for ease of transport and assembly. Hirers are responsible for safe set-up and pack-down.

 2 to 5 days – Standard charge of $100

5 days plus – Rate to be negotiated.

 The following conditions are covered in the Agreement to Hire and must be agreed to on the electronic form before collection.

The hirer is responsible for:

• Safe transport
•  Secure anchoring during use
•  Proper pack-down
•  Returning the gazebo clean and dry
   

The gazebo must not be packed away wet.

If returned damaged or unclean, a cleaning or repair fee may apply.

The gazebo is covered under STCCT insurance while stored by the Trust.

While hired out, the hirer is responsible for:

• Any damage
• Loss
• Theft
• Excess on any insurance claim
   

If damage repair costs are less than the insurance excess, the hirer is responsible for the full cost of repair.

The gazebo must be securely fastened at all times during use.
