"I joined the Strath Taieri Connect Charitable Trust to help strengthen connections in our rural community. It’s important to me to support initiatives that bring people together and create a resilient future for Strath Taieri."

Developing and starting this Trust has been an interesting challenge. What I am enjoying the most, is making a difference in the scale of projects that the community can now be involved in. 

 " I joined the STCCT as I could see a need for us to fill gaps in our community to provide support that makes wellbeing possible by connecting our community with services that were once here, that have slipped away and weren't available anymore. Connecting can be a range of activities here, a request or a need; enabling an activity to take place, by securing funding." 

 I am excited to serve as a trustee for the Strath Taieri Connect Charitable Trust. Community and family are two of my core values. I have a young family of my own and want my kids to grow up in a strong, safe community. I am eager to be a part of an organisation that shares my values. I look forward to helping make a positive impact.

 The STCCT is providing structure and resources to support the vibrant community that is Strath Taieri. My role allows meetings to flow without participants having to stop to write down discussion and decisions.  This ensures that required actions are captured and that outcomes are recorded. 

"As the digital support for the Trust, I manage the website, create media collateral, and coordinate with third-party partners. I’m passionate about helping the Trust succeed by ensuring its digital presence is strong and effective."
